Description
The farms of Muscongus Bay Aquaculture and Dodge Cove Marine Farm are highly committed to producing the best quality shellfish for farmers and consumers alike. The companies cultivate American oysters, hard clams, and bay scallops in the highly productive Damariscotta River in mid-coast Maine.
The companies are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, team-oriented, and level-headed individuals to help our crew with daily operations.
Duties may include, but not be limited to;
- Safely work on the water and at shoreside facilities consistent with relevant health and safety requirements
- Build, install, and repair shellfish aquaculture equipment under supervision from a crew chief or managers
- Install, maintain, and occasionally repair lines, moorings/anchors, floats, rafts, and growing and processing equipment under direction or crew chief or manager
- Culling and grading of market oysters
- Processing oysters for shipment
Preferred skills:

- Must be able to lift 50lb
- Able to work in adverse weather conditions

- A good representative of the companies
- Must be able to work in the U.S., and have a valid U.S. driver's license
